একদল তরুণ তুর্কী অবিরাম ভাবে কাজ করে চলেছে অসহায় মানুষদের জন্য। তাদের মিলিত প্রয়াসে ঘুলঘুলি ডানা মেলছে একটু একটু করে। প্রত্যন্ত এলাকায় ঘুলঘুলি পৌঁছে যাচ্ছে সেইসব প্রান্তিক মানুষগুলোর কাছে যাদের সত্যি সাহায্যের বড়ই প্রয়োজন। বন্যা,মহামারী,ঝড় যখন বেঁচে থাকার ক্ষেত্রে বালাই হয়ে উঠেছে, সেখানে ঘুলঘুলি থেমে না থেকে সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে জীবনের দিকে। আরো বড় হোক ঘুলঘুলি।

আমরা যারা বহুদিন বাড়ির বাইরে রয়েছি, হয়ত আর ফেরার অবকাশটুকুও নেই তাদের কাছে “ঘুলঘুলি” শব্দটা অনেকটা পিছুটান; শৈশব, বাড়ি, খেলার মাঠ, অনেকদিন কথা না হওয়া বন্ধুরা এবং ইত্যাদি প্রভৃতি। সেখানে “ঘুলঘুলি” একদল বন্ধুদের দল। যারা একসাথে পথে নেমে আলোর যোগান দিয়ে সমাজের সমস্ত আবছায়াকে আড়াল করার চেষ্টা করে চলেছে প্রতিনিয়ত। আমার সবচেয়ে ভালো লেগেছে “ঘুলঘুলি বইঘর”।
ঘুলঘুলি -র প্রত্যেকের জন্য অনেক শুভেচ্ছা। ঘুলঘুলিতে আরও অনেক স্বপ্ন বাসা বাঁধুক।

ঘুলঘুলি পরিত্যক্ত হতে পারে। আবার পাখির আশ্রয় হতে পারে। এই ঘুলঘুলির বাসিন্দারা অন্যের আশ্রয় হয়ে উঠছে। তারা রোদ্দুরের অপেক্ষায় থাকেনি। নিজেরাই আলো পৌঁছে দিচ্ছে।

আমার শুভেচ্ছা রইল তোমাদের উদ্যোগের প্রতি। ঘুলঘুলি আরও অনেক মানুষের বিপন্ন দেওয়ালে মুক্তির আশ্বাস এনে দিক।

আমার এক সিনিয়র দাদা ও তাদের সংগঠন ঘুলঘুলি ২০১৭ সাল থেকে, সুন্দরবন, উত্তর চব্বিশ পরগনা, পুরুলিয়ার বিভিন জায়গায় নানারকম কাজ করে চলেছে, শিশু শিক্ষার প্রসার, দুর্যোগ মোকাবিলা এবং বিভিন্ন রকম চ্যারিটির কাজ করে চলেছে। তারা তাদের কাজ যাতে আরও এগিয়ে নিয়ে যেতে পারে, আরও ভালো ভাবে যাতে কাজ করতে পারে এবং সবাই চারিদিকে যাতে জানতে পারে, তাই তারা একটা ওয়েবসাইট তৈরী করেছে, আপনারা অবশ্যই চোখ রাখুন তাতে। সবাইকে নতুন বছরের অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা।

I am extremely happy to witness the growth of Ghulghuli – started as a small-time student activity to help the underprivileged children in the remotest parts of eastern India, especially in the state of west bengal. These energetic youths have now organized as a legal entity named, Ghulghuli Trust with young leaders as its Trustees. I have witnessed their respectable social activities, and responsible growth in activities, since their Ghulghuli student activity group. I am fully convinced that the youths of India 🇮🇳 are our great transformational force to strengthen the nation and society. I am sure that, Ghulghli shall be the voice to those who are voiceless, underprivileged, and needy fellow citizens. Ghulghuli Trust shall strive hard to bring hope and light to them through their benevolent activities

ঘুলঘুলির জন্মলগ্ন থেকেই আমার সাথে পরিচয়।  নিজেদের মত করে নতুন অথচ দৃঢ় পায়ে তাদের পথচলা আমি দেখেছি। দেখেছি কীভাবে নিজেদের চারপাশে আপাত ক্ষুদ্র পরিসরে একটু একটু করে মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে পড়ে ওরা। মনে করিয়ে দেয় খুব অল্প অল্প হলেও রোজদিনের ছোট ছোট সাহায্য, পাশে থাকা, ভরসা দেওয়া জমতে জমতে একটা বড় পরিবর্তনের পথ খুলে দিতে পারে। ওরা দেখিয়ে দেয় চার দেওয়ালের আড়াল যতই উঁচু হোক, বন্ধ জানলার অন্ধকার  যতই কালো হোক, ঘরের কোণের একটা জেদি ঘুলঘুলিই এনে দিতে পারে নতুন দিনের আলো। সেই আলোতে উজ্জ্বল  হয়ে উঠুক ঘুলঘুলির আগামি সকল দিনগুলো।

It gives a feeling of immense satisfaction to know that “Ghulghuli” has decided to launch a website to showcase their activities.
The volunteers at Ghulghuli have been doing yeoman service over the last five years bringing cheer and sunshine into the lives of the under-privileged and distressed sections of society through their multifarious activities like child education, promoting healthy life style, organizing recreational activities etc. In the long run such selfless activities contribute in making the world a much better place to live in.
Wishing Ghulghuli a successful growth in their activities in the service of mankind in future.

‘ঘুলঘুলি’ – শব্দটা শুনলেই মনে পড়ে ছাদঘেঁষা একটা জাফরি, যার ভিতর দিয়ে ঘরে ঢুকে পড়ছে রোদ-আলো-হাওয়া-বৃষ্টি ও আরও কতকিছু। চার দেওয়ালের মধ্যে বাইরের দুনিয়াকে পৌঁছে দেওয়ার এক ষড়যন্ত্র হল ঘুলঘুলি। কিংবা উল্টোটা, বাইরের কাছে চার দেওয়ালের বদ্ধতাকে পৌঁছে দেওয়া। এই যে আদানপ্রদান, এই-ই তো ভারসাম্য রাখে। বাংলার একদল তরুণ-তরুণী যখন আক্ষরিক অর্থেই ‘মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানো’র পথ বেছে নিল, ঘুলঘুলিই যে তাদের পরিচয় হয়ে উঠবে, তাতে আর আশ্চর্য কী! ঘুলঘুলি আরও কার্যকরী হয়ে উঠুক, আরো-আরও আলোবাতাস পৌঁছে দিক মানুষের কাছে, এই শুভকামনা জানাই।

Ghulghuli is an organization of young spirits with the vision of reaching and nurturing the needy. They develop as social innovators as they broaden their horizons with tenacity, courage and determination over the past five years. From providing relief during the winters, floods or any natural calamities, they organized regular blood donation camp, opened 3 libraries in Sundarban and Purulia. Their role during the COVID-19 pandemic was laudable and encouraging. Such diverse contributions and achievements make them unique as an organization. We need such minds in our society that can guide us in making our future better. I wish you the best of luck and support in your future endeavours and happy 5th anniversary to the entire team.

I think it is not only our moral responsibility but it is the need of the hour to help the needy people. The efforts we put in may not translate into a big change, but children, women, elders who are helped by Ghulghuli can definitely make a difference. I really appreciate the efforts and feel overwhelmed to see a smile on the face of someone we don’t know.

বন্ধ ঘরের নিঃশ্বাস, আলোর দিশা আবার একখানি চড়ুইয়ের আশ্রয় হয়ে ওঠে ঘুলঘুলি। নিভৃত প্রাণে কখনো সে জোগায় স্পন্দন আবার কখনো হতে যায় নিবিড় আশ্রয়। আমাদের এই ‘ঘুলঘুলি ‘ মানুষের পাশে থাকার এক প্রচেষ্টা। প্রান্তিক প্রান্তর থেকে শহুরে অলিগলি, শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য থেকে পরিবেশ সচেতনতার বিকল্প বার্তা পৌঁছে দেয় মহৎ প্রাণের অন্দরে। সরকারি স্বীকৃতিপ্রাপ্ত এই ঘুলঘুলির পথচলা বহুদিনের। আম্পান ঝড়, বিকল্প বইঘর, সুন্দরবনের সবুজায়ন থেকে শবর স্কুল পরিচালনা, অভিজ্ঞতার ঝুলি ভরেছে সময়ের সাথে সাথে। সম্পদ হয়েছে শিশু মনের অকৃত্রিম আবদার, তাদের ক্লান্তিহীন হাসি, মানুষের ভালোবাসা। এই যাত্রাপথে প্রত্যক্ষ ও পরোক্ষভাবে জুড়ে রয়েছে অনেক মানুষ এবং তাদের নিরলস পরিশ্রম। ঘুলঘুলি যত বড় হয়েছে আগামীর প্রতি তার দায়বদ্ধতা বেড়েছে অনেক গুণে। সেই বৃহৎ কর্মভার এখন ঘুলঘুলির পাশাপাশি প্রত্যেক সচেতন মানুষের। ‘ঘুলঘুলি’ আহ্বান করে সবাইকে, ধন্যবাদ জানায় সবাইকে যারা জীবন জীবিকার বাইরে নিত্যদিন যুক্ত। ‘ঘুলঘুলি’ জীবন যুদ্ধে এন.জি.ও’র থেকেও বেড়ে হয়েছে এক ভিন্ন সমাজ। সে সমাজে আমি, তুমি, সবাই জড়িয়ে, চলো সেই সমাজকে আরো একটু গুছিয়ে নেওয়ার স্বপ্নে হাত মেলাই, এই অকালেও।

ঘুলঘুলির সাথে প্রথম পরিচয়ে দেখেছিলাম ওরা ফলের বীজ চাইছে; ফল নয়, অর্থ নয়। বীজ। রাঢ়ের রুক্ষতায় ভবিষ্যত সবুজ রাঙিয়ে দিতে আমাদের শীততাপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত ঘুলঘুলিহীন বন্ধ ঘরে জোর ধাক্কা দিয়ে কয়েক পা এগিয়ে দিল যারা, তাদের নাম ‘ঘুলঘুলি’….সেই শুরু।দেখলাম কিছু যুবক-যুবতী যারা পুরোনো বই জমিয়ে ছোটদের জন্য লাইব্রেরী বানিয়ে ফেলে। কখনো দক্ষিণবঙ্গের ঘূর্ণাবর্ত পরবর্তী ধুঁকতে থাকা মানুষদের হাতে তুলে দেয় চারাগাছ।ওদের ছোঁয়ায় প্রবীণ গাছের কবরে জেগে ওঠে নবীন। এই সিক্রেট সান্তা’রা শীতাতুর মানুষের হাতে তুলে দেয় ভালোবাসার ওম। তাদের আপাত কঠিন কাজ সহজ উপায়ে করে ফেলার নবীন উদ্যোগ মুগ্ধ করে বারবার। ওরা গুটিগুটি পায়ে পাঁচে পা দিল। যারা এত ভালো ভাবতে পারে তাদের জন্মক্ষণের জন্য অনেক ভালোবাসা। ঘুলঘুলি এভাবেই এগিয়ে যাক, এই কামনা করি।

ঘুলঘুলিতে আরো দু’টো চড়ুই বাসা বাঁধুক, প্রাণ ফিরুক। ছোট ছোট পাখির ছানাদের ডানার শব্দে ধূলো উড়ুক, সাথে উড়ে যাক আত্মকেন্দ্রিকতার জমা ঝুল।

I have the privilege to know Ghulghuli and few of it’s members personally and therefore can personally vouch for how sincerely they have been doing a tremendous and sincere job through the years. Despite all the restraints and limitations, they are stretching their hands to the unprivileged, marginalised and poorest of the poor which has been limitless in it’s effect. And I’m sure they will keep doing it in their coming days. I hope to work beside them in the future and sincerely wish them all the best in this endeavour.

Ghulghuli is a remarkable initiative by a group of like-minded young and energetic people…unlike most other such organizations, as the name suggests it caters to the needs of that fringe group in the society who are generally overlooked…I have seen the hard work done by the members of Ghulghuli, be it in AMPHAN or other such natural calamities, and wish them all the best in their future endeavors

ঘুলঘুলি আমার কাছে একটা স্বপ্ন যাকে বাস্তবায়িত করছে কিছু শুভানুধ্যায়ী উদ্বুদ্ধ যুবক। নিজেদের অদম্য ইচ্ছেশক্তি কে রূপান্তরিত করছে কিছু মানুষের অমলীন হাসি তে, পরিবেশের পরিশুদ্ধ রূপে! ঘুলঘুলি আরও বৃহৎ স্তরে উন্নীত হোক, এগিয়ে যাক অসীমের পথে, হয়ে উঠুক দিশেহারার পথ প্রদর্শক!

I first heard about Ghulghuli when one of the members of this organization came forward to help the students of a private NGO inside the IIT(BHU) campus. It was awe-inspiring how actively and proficiently the team ghulghuli is working not only in West Bengal also outside of Bengal. For the past five years, they have constantly been helping people affected in the Sundarban area, which is very prone to natural calamities (Amphan). They have established a library in the Sundarbans area. They have also been very proactive during the COVID-19 pandemic in fulfilling people’s needs. This group of enthusiastic young minds is broadening their horizon and vision and connecting people with the same mindset. Our society needs such passionate people to create a better future. I wish you all the best in your future endeavor.
