On 28th July, 2022, GHULGHULI organized a Blood donation camp in collaboration with NSHM Knowledge Campus (Kolkata), with the help of Thalassemia Society. What made this event even more special was it’s location, our beloved college, our alma mater. The event was an absolute success with more than 75 donors and most of them being students of our college. The energy of youth in this camp was highly contagious. They were aware of the fact that approximately 1 out of every 7 people entering a hospital needs blood and the demands are increasing every minute. When a patient needs blood blood banks are only viable option but they are often not available as per the demand all the time.
To overcome these tough scenarios ‘Ghulghuli’ and their members along with the wonderful donors made this blood donation camp hugely successful.

Besides encouraging the students about donating blood we also made them aware of the responsibilities to our environment. By gifting plants as a souvenir, we tried our best to raise environment awareness in the youth.
