A single pint can save 3 lives! A single gesture can create a million smiles!
On 10th April, 2022, Team ‘Ghulghuli’ organized a blood donation camp at Regent Park, Tollygunge.
Children born with Thalassemia requires frequent blood transfusion for every 15 to 20 days till the end of their life. But unfortunately there is a greater shortage of blood available to meet up for the increasing blood crisis. So, a request came to ‘Ghulghuli’ for organizing a blood donation drive.
And like always, even in these difficult times, you and our members didn’t disappoint us. The overall turnout at the event was nothing short of commendable. We express our heartfelt gratitude to the medical team of Thalassemia Society and Mr. Sudipto for helping us make this effort a successful one.
Besides encouraging people to donate blood, we tried to spread environmental awareness among the blood donors by gifting them a plant as a souvenir, like every other time. This was our 3rd attempt at arranging a blood donation camp.
With your active support and good wishes, together, we hope to organize more such camps and make the world a better place to live in.
