But yes, at the same time some of the people around you were helping us, someone gave money, some gave the clothes. We were raising funds for a hundred children in a school in Purulia to give new clothes for pujas, but the emergency situation took us a little away to the north. However, on the train of 24th august night, we had three young Turks-Karan Singh, Swadhapriyo Saha and another (called defiance) traveller for the purpose of delivering the flood reliefs. 300 kg of “chire”or “chiura”, 75 kg of molasses, 158 pieces of soap, 100 packets biscuits, sanitary napkin, and saline were bought from Malda town for help. Again, if we did not have Tanjina Yasmin going around the streets, informing in the shops or collecting money from nearby people, we could have failed. Thanks and tons of love from us Tanjina.
