On May 1, 2026, ‘Ghulghuli’, in collaboration with the Institute of Dental Studies & Technologies (IDST), Meerut, organized the “Festival of Red & Green” Blood Donation Camp at the IDST Mayo Blood Centre in loving memory of the founder of IDST, Late Padma Shri Dr. L.K. Gandhi. The event turned out to be an overwhelming success, with around 80 donors participating, reflecting the incredible enthusiasm and spirit of humanity among all.
In response to the growing demand for safe blood in hospitals and for patients in need, we actively contributed through blood donation while also spreading awareness about environmental responsibility. Staying true to the vision of ‘Ghulghuli’, each donor was gifted a plant as a souvenir, symbolizing the commitment to both saving lives and nurturing nature.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the faculty members, students, donors, technicians, and volunteers of IDST for making this event a success. A special applause goes to our student volunteers, whose dedication was truly commendable. Their sincere efforts in handling every small and large responsibility made this initiative a remarkable celebration of life, humanity, and sustainability.
